Get Subscribers to Open Your Emails the Moment They Arrive

How do you get your readers to RACE to open your emails the moment they arrive in their inbox? Here’s one way to do it. It’s kind of sneaky but if you condition your readers properly, it can work really, really well.

Get Subscribers to Open Your Emails the Moment They Arrive

First, you already know that paying customers are worth far, far more than freebie seekers. So why not make an offer to your freebie seekers that even they cannot refuse?

And in the process, why not get them to open (and read) your emails?

Here’s how it works: Every few days or every few emails, you have one of your links go to a wonderful $1 or $5 deal, but only for the first x number of people.

This might be a product that normally sells for a great deal more, a resale product, something you no longer sell, etc. So long as it still has real value, you can use it.

Your link can be obvious or disguised. For example, you might send an email promoting xyz product, but your link goes to your special offer until it’s sold out, and then it directs back to the xyz offer. And on your special offer page, be sure to have a prominent link to the offer mentioned in the email.

The following day, you can congratulate those who got the special deal, and remind the other readers that they, too, can grab these deals if they pay attention and if they’re fast.

You’ll want to condition your readers ahead of time to always be looking for these deals by opening your emails and clicking your links.

You can even get tricky. You can have the link go where you say it will, but then embed an Easter egg on the page that leads to the special offer. If they read your email, they’ll know where to find it.

There is a trade-off here. While you are conditioning your readers to open your emails and click your links, you’re also training them to look for special deals. So while your opens and clicks should rise dramatically, the money you make per open and per click could drop off slightly. You’ll want to test this.

Odds are you’ll still make more money because so many more people are opening and reading your emails and clicking your links. This means more sales of the products you promote, not just the special deals.

Choosing a Profitable Affiliate Program

Affiliate programs are a great way to make money online; if you choose the right affiliate program. That it why it is extremely important that you carefully choose which affiliate program or programs you want to join. When it comes to choosing an affiliate program, do you know what to look for you?  If this is your first time joining an affiliate program, you are urged to keep on reading.  I say keep on reading even if it’s not your first time joining an affiliate program. Below are some guidelines that you may want to think about following.

Perhaps, the most important thing that you need to remember, when choosing an affiliate program, is to not pick the first affiliate program that you come across.  This is a big mistake that many affiliate program participants make.  Unfortunately for you, this can be a costly mistake.  What many do not realize is that the product you choose to promote will reflect on you and your business. That is why it is important that you take the time to thoroughly examine an affiliate program first.  You will want to choose an affiliate program that involves a product that you can stand behind, one hundred percent. One of the best ways to know that you are dealing with a legitimate affiliate program and a quality product is to test that product out.  Although you are advised to do this, you may not want to or you may be unable to do so. If that is the case, you can still research an affiliate program or even the product that is being sold. You can easily do this online.  One of the best ways to do your research is to perform a standard internet search. Search with the name of the affiliate program or the product being sold. You can also check out websites that are known as scam websites. These websites tend to profile companies, individuals, or business opportunities that regularly scam consumers.

Before applying for or signing up for an affiliate program, youare advised to read all of the rules, restrictions, or guidelines associated with that affiliate program. Unfortunately, you may find yourself disqualified from an affiliate program right off the bat.  For instance, there are a large number of affiliate programs that prohibit their products from being advertised on websites that display pornography, foul language, and other offensive content.  Familiarizing yourself with an affiliate program’s rules and guidelines will prevent you from being denied from a program or later dismissed from one. Click below for a “Done for You” program that gets results.

Perhaps, one of the most important things to remember, when choosing an affiliate program, is the product that you will have to sell. In conjunction with making sure that the product is a quality one, you will also want to make sure that it is related to your website or business, in one way or another.  For instance, if your own website focuses on computer programming, you will not want to join an affiliate program that sells pet products.  Joining an affiliate program that is related, in one way or another, to your own website may increase your chances of making a sale; thus increasing your profits. Click below for a “Done for You” program that actually gets results.

Although it is important to choose a quality product to standbehind, you also need to remember that your goal is to make money. One of the easiest ways to make a substantial amount of money is to choose an affiliate program that pays their affiliates decently.  The average commission for affiliates is three to five percent of each sale made.  While this is a good percentage to make, there are higher paying affiliate programs. You may want to look for affiliate programs that pay around ten percent.  In fact, there are even a select number of affiliate programs that pay around fifteen percent in commissions.

The above mentioned guidelines are just a few of the many that you will want to take into consideration, when choosing an affiliate program.  Although the above mentioned points are helpful, the most important thing to keep in mind is your judgment.  Using your best judgment is the easiest way to choose an effective affiliate program. Here is a “Done for You “ program that Really Gets Results!

P.S. If carefully chosen, you could easily make a full-time living just with affiliate programs.

How to Become a Consultant in One Hour

Would you like to add a new income stream to an existing business? Or are you looking for a brand new business? Then check this out.

How to Become a Consultant in One Hour

First, you need knowledge. If you don’t have it, then obviously you can get it. It’s got to be specialized knowledge. Maybe you’re an expert at a certain software program, or a WordPress expert, or you know everything there is to know about how to drop to 5% body fat. Whatever it is, it’s got to be knowledge that other people want NOW.

Next, you need a way to get your consulting in front of the people who need it. Let’s say you’re an affiliate for a software or program that you personally know inside and out. You keep a mailing list of everyone who’s visited your site or bought the product from you.

These people sometimes email you with questions about the product. “How do I… ?” “Where is the… ?” “When so and so happens, what do I do?” And so forth. Being the good affiliate you are, you probably answer these questions. And you’re good at it, too.

But what if you could get paid to do it? Set up a page on your site offering your consulting service by email. Charge a reasonable fee, like $27 or $47 for the day or for the week, whatever is appropriate for the information you have to offer.

Remember, a certain percentage of people would much rather have someone show them how to do something than to have to figure it out for themselves. And they will gladly pay you for making their life easier.

That’s really all there is to it. Answer their questions by email, and remember – you are a consultant, not a technical advisor (unless you are.) This way you can focus on the types of questions you’re good at.

Bonus tip: Spend some time in forums finding out what the most common questions are about the topic, and then SEO your site to get high rankings for several of the well searched keywords. Then on every page of your site, point them in the direction of your consulting.

Your consulting can even help you to sell more affiliate products, because you will be building trust with your readers that you are in fact an expert. Thus when you recommend something, it’s really and truly worth buying.

4 Tips to Internet Marketing if You are New!

This is just a basic high level overview of getting started with internet marketing. Countless people are turning to the web everyday as a means of making money. There are a lot of opportunities to be had for those willing to reach for them. But while you may have the motivation to build an internet marketing company or just get started with affiliate marketing, you may not have the knowledge required. It can be a pretty daunting task, starting your business but you can do it.

You may think starting an internet business is easier, but you would actually be wrong. Affiliate marketing can be much easier to get started in this business. You still have to put in a lot of time and effort, and even some money. The real advantage of starting an online business is that you do not require thousands of dollars to do it, and if you really work at it you can only spend a few dollars a month. The other benefit is that once it is set up and making money, it is fairly easy to manage.

The reason most people do not do this is because they simply can not get over that initial hurdle. It takes a long time and a lot of dedication to make money, and people just give up or poke at it a little and never really do any real work.

If you are ready and willing to put in the effort, then these tips should give you a place to start.

1: Patience. I really can not emphasize this enough and even though I have already mentioned it, it deserves it’s own tip. If you are looking to start an internet marketing company or even start with affiliate marketing, you need to understand that it is not some magical entity that will make you tons of cash overnight. You will not get rich quick I am sorry to say so beware do be wary of the hype. It is an actual business and it will require a lot of time and hard work before you start seeing any returns.

2: Figuring out a niche. With the warning out of the way, here is a real tip to help you get started. Finding a niche, basically finding what you want to specialize in. Every company has their product, what is yours? Odds are that since you are looking into internet marketing, you will want to sell your services in helping other people market their business or a good way to get in is through affiliate marketing. If that is not the case, then look around to see what kind of service or product you do want to offer.

3: Build your website. Once you have figured out what you plan to sell, you need to set up a website. This can all be done freely (except for the domain name) if you are willing to put in the work. However if you have some money to spare and do not feel like bothering with this, you can hire professionals to build your website for you.

4: Marketing. Once you have the website of your internet marketing company set up, you need to market yourself. As I often say, you can have the best business in the world but if nobody knows it exists, you will not make any money. This can be a rather lengthy procedure and just like with website building you can outsource it if you want or you can do it all yourself. Marketing will be the life blood of your internet business and it takes some time to build it.

These tips should give you an idea of where to start, but ultimately you will have to do a lot more research to learn details in order to effectively run your internet business.

4 Magic Words that Can Make You Money

I know I preach about picking something and staying focused on that something until you make it a success, but there are exceptions, and this is a big one. There are certain products you should probably grab whenever you see them. These are “how to” products on marketing techniques that contain three little words that can be a goldmine for you – “Step by step.”

4 Magic Words that Can Make You Money

The reason I love these is because for a very cheap price – usually less than $40 and sometimes only $10 – you get a complete step by step system on how to do something.

You might buy 2 or 3 of these a week. Then when you’ve got time, go through each one. Read the PDF’s and watch the videos.

Decide if you think the technique is something you can apply to your business. If it is, try it out. You might set aside one afternoon each week to try a new step by step technique.

Then wait and see what happens. Sometimes you see results right away and other times it takes a while, depending on what the technique might be.

You’re watching to see if it works. For example, if it’s a technique on how to get traffic then you’re watching to see if: You get traffic and if that traffic converts.

Once you know it works, you apply the fourth magic word – Outsourcing.

That’s right – you give your “how to” product to your outsourcer, along with any notes you’ve made when you implemented it yourself, and have them do it for you.

The first day they might send you a few emails with questions, but it won’t take you much time to answer them.

Then you just let them run with it and watch your numbers. Make sure you’re making more from results of the system than you’re paying the outsourcer and you’re good to go.

One of the best things about “step by step” products is they’re written for the average person, not a rocket scientist marketer. They have to be, or else the product creator would get a million questions. This makes it super easy to hand it off to another person to do the actual work for you. As long as the technique results in more income than outlay, it’s a winner.

And all you invested was the initial price of the ‘how to’ program, along with an afternoon to try it out for yourself.

To give an example: Let’s say you pick up 5 new ‘how to get traffic’ systems. 4 of them work well, so you outsource those and forget about the fifth one.

The new traffic results in X amount of new subscribers and X amount of new sales. Maybe it’s 1,000 new subscribers a month, and $1,500 in sales the first month, $500 the second month on those 1,000 subscribers.

So as long as you’re paying your outsourcer less than $2,000 a month (which is easy to do) you’re in profit.

This is a great way to add extra income to your existing business without a lot of time and effort on your part.

So remember to use these 4 magic words – “Step by step” and “Outsourcing.”

And one more thing: If you have a fistful of resell products sitting on your hard drive, take a look at those. You never know what step by step technique you’re going to find that you can use to help build your business through outsourcing.

Email Marketing is Still #1

The definition of email marketing is: The promotion of products or services via email.

Email marketing is one of the many ways available for an online business person to get traffic to their site. It is also one of the most effective ways to stay in touch with your customers.

By using this method, you will be able to increase your exposure with the people who visit your website. Most people will only visit your website once and never come back. This allows you to maintain some type of contact with them to build a “relationship” with them.

The subject of your emails should be short and sweet. You want the subject line to catch their eye and pique their curiosity so they open your email. One of the best ways to do this is to ask a question.

Some email services and programs will not display the entire subject line if it is too long. Keep this in mind when writing your subject line. Your readers will only scan the subject lines when they log into their email account, if your subject does not appeal to them and sound interesting they will delete your email without even opening it.

You no doubt have many ways to promote your product or service and some may seem more important than others but, in reality, they are all bringing you in some form of traffic and you are making sales. This leg of your promotional campaign is equally important.

Never let up on your email campaign. Keep information as up-to-date as possible and make changes when needed. It is easy to fall into complacency when you think you have gotten everything out of your email campaign but if you treat it this way you could be losing customers hand over fist.

Make the emails you send look like your site. People will begin to associate a type of brand awareness with your emails if you have your product or service logo or other distinguishing characteristics, like the same colors you have on your site.

Customers will more likely buy from someone they know. With repeated exposure to you and your company through your campaign, they will begin to feel as if they have a relationship with you and when they need to buy, they will come to you first.

Obviously, the ultimate goal here is to make money by selling your product or service. Therefore, you should try to tailor each message to that end. Each message should be interesting and informative. Try to keep in mind how your customers think and what kind of information they would be interested in receiving from you.

Finding the right combination of what works could take some trial and error. To find what works and what doesn’t, make small changes to the wording or the graphics that you use so you ultimately end up with the “perfect” message for your product or service. Remember to never spam though.

A side note is sometimes the images you want to use will not display in your message. One way around this is to use descriptive alt tags for them and make sure you use a nice easily readable font for the most important information.

4 Tips for Basic Internet Marketing, Don’t Give Up!

The internet can still be a mystery to some people. Sure everyone knows about it and has a basic understanding, but many concepts can still prove elusive for most people when it comes to internet marketing. One such concept being the ability to make money on the internet. Most people still can not understand how this is possible, or worse, they think it is exceptionally easy but we no it isn’t easy. With that said it isn’t difficult either. It just takes time and effort and generally a little capital.

The truth is, internet marketing today is not impossible nor is it all that easy. While you can certainly make money online, it takes a long time and a lot of hard work and dedication on your part in order to succeed. You can NEVER give up. You have to always remember, if you plan on starting your own online business or affiliate marketing business, that it is still a business and you must treat it as such. All the things you would do if you went and opened a department store, you still have to do most of those things with an internet based business. The nice thing is you can do it from your kitchen tale if you wish.

To help you make your online business grow to be successful here are some basic tips. Again this is just high level tips but must have basics to be successful.

1: Be sure you are ready. I can not stress this enough, but way too many people go into this all hyped up and with misconceptions. This is not some easy scheme to get quick cash or get rich quick and it will require a lot of work and it can take months for you to see any return. You MUST be patience. If you accept these facts and are still willing to deal with internet marketing today, then you are one step closer to success. Mental positive attitude is key.

2: Set up a schedule. Like with any business, you need a set schedule. While the nice thing about owning your own online business is that you can work when you want, where you want, you still do need some structure. So set up a plan for when you will work and how long you will work each day, and then stick to it. Many people will poke at their business every week or two and then complain it is not working. You need to work it almost every single day.

3: Pick a niche. Once you have a dedicated work schedule, you need to decide what exactly you are going to be working on. Figuring out what kind of product you are going to sell is an important step. Is it a service or a physical product or affiliate product? Is it extremely mainstream and sells well, thus having a lot of competition? Or is it more obscure? You need to get the right mix of obscurity so you do not have overwhelming competition, but also popularity so you can still make money. I know this is easier said than done.

4: Market your business. Once you have your niche, then you need to start marketing it. This is the single hardest, and most time consuming process. But it is also the life blood of your business. Until people are consistently visiting your website, until it is ranked highly on Google, until you are making money, it will seem like a lot of hard work for nothing. But keep at it.

Internet marketing today can be quite competitive and it can be hard knowing what to do or where to start. That coupled with the fact that you will be doing a lot of work without ever seeing a penny for a long time means many people fail. But if you do your research and keep your head held high and on straight, you can be just as successful as all those big time gurus.

Is Your Advertising Effective or Not!

How do you know whether your advertising is effective or not? The answer is to track advertising response for each ad you run.

Whether you operate a retail store, a service business, affiliate marketing, a mail order operation, or an Internet marketing business, you can measure the effectiveness of your advertising.

1. Which Publications Produce Profits?

When new customers phone or visit you, ask how they found out about you. They might say they found you through the internet, mail ad or your newspaper ad etc.

Record the responses and resulting sales from each ad. Then, analyze whether each particular advertisement is producing the desired results.

If an advertisement consistently produces profits for you, keep running it. On the other hand, if an ad consistently performs poorly or produces a loss, discontinue it.

In mail order for an example, you can key each ad so that you can measure the resulting sales from each publication.

You could add “Dept. A” to your name or address in the ad to indicate the July issue of a particular magazine. Key it as “Dept. B” for the August issue of the same magazine. “Dept. C” could indicate the July issue of a different magazine you advertise in.

Thus, as orders come in, you can track the response and sales made from each advertisement. From that information, you can easily determine the profitability of your ad in each publication.

2. Which Ads Produce Profits?

Not only can ad tracking show you which publications are profitable to advertise in, but it will also help you measure the effectiveness of the ads themselves.

If you change your ad, and the results for the new ad are consistently better or worse, you can take the appropriate action; either continue or discontinue the advertisement.

Change only one element in an ad at a time.

For example, if you decide to change the price, don’t change the headline. Otherwise, you won’t know if the difference in results was due to the changed price or the changed headline. For greater certainty, change only one thing at a time when testing your ads.

On the Internet, you can use tracking software and services that will aid you to determine the source of your sales and the effectiveness of your advertising, article writing, and other activities.

Whether you operate a retail store, a service business, affiliate marketing, a mail order operation, or an Internet marketing business, use ad tracking for increased profits.

Internet Marketing is Financial Independence

The best advice for Internet marketing is to never lose sight of what you are really after, financial independence. Making your online business a success and being able to get out from under the hassle of living paycheck to paycheck is what is important here.

So, the best advice for Internet marketing is to stay focused on what you need to learn and never give up. I also don’t recommend jumping from program to new program. Do a little research and find something legitimate and a program that has some roots to it and stick with it. It’s fine to not have all your eggs in one basket so multiple streams of income is a way to go. They say that most people give up and go back to their “normal” way of life just before they “make it” and become a success online. Don’t let this happen to you.

A couple of years ago Google came out with the Panda update and messed with a lot of people’s bottom lines. Changing their algorithms meant that everyone needed to learn new ways of doing things and a lot of people lost a lot of money in the process.

Now Google has done it again with another update called the Penguin 2019. It remains to be seen what is in store for us this time.

But this is what I mean, you need to keep learning all of the time to continue to be a successful business owner. No one can just put up a website and become a success.

There are so many things to learn, none of which are difficult, but most do take some time to master.

Keyword research for one. Keyword research is a tedious task that needs to be done often to keep up with how searchers are searching for products they need and want.

Search engine optimization is another. After your keyword research you need to optimize your website around those keywords by creating content for your website that will make those searchers interested in what you have to say.

If you can establish yourself as an expert in your niche then you will get the bulk of the traffic and the bulk of the sales because people will trust you.

Back linking is still another. Posting content on others sites with links back to your own is a great way to increase traffic and hopefully, sales. You can do this with forum posts, posting comments on others blogs, or by putting up a banner ad on someone else’s site, with their permission of course.

Just make sure that what you post is not any kind of spam and that the places you choose to post are relevant to your niche. If you spam, you will get caught and booted off of the search engines altogether.

That is no way to run a successful business.

All of this is how you get to be the authority in your niche. But, you must remember that things can change in a heartbeat so you must keep up with those changes or be left behind.

Keep learning, everyday. This is the best advice for Internet marketing that I can give you. Also promote your business opportunity everyday or almost everyday. The more you know the quicker you can respond to the changes that are inevitable. Nothing ever stays the same, especially on the Internet.

Want More Conversions (Opens and Sales) from Your Emails? Use This Checklist Now!

__ Do you get to the point right away? Do not tell them about the last four hours you spent watching television or mowing the lawn unless it’s pertinent to the story.

__ Are you telling a story? Ideally you should tell an interesting story in every email you send to increase your open rates.

__ WIIFT… What’s in it for them? Don’t just tell them how great your product is. Tell them what they get for taking the action you’re promoting.

__ “So what?” Read the email as if you were the recipient, and see if they would ask, “So what?” You want to fascinate and excite them to click that link.

__ Is your writing boring? Uh-oh. Not talking about what’s in it for them, or writing “so what” emails are leading causes of massive email boredom.

__ Are you using action verbs? Contrast these two sentences to see the importance of using action verbs: 1. The cat seems healthy. 2. The cat raced across the yard and dove into the bushes chasing the terrified ground squirrel. Which one keeps the reader awake and reading?

__ Is your email just long enough to get them to click the link, and no longer? You’d be surprised how many marketers talk themselves out of getting that link clicked by rambling too much.

__ Is the formatting super easy to read? Or is it all one long indistinguishable paragraph?

__ Have you read it through and cut out all the fat? Seriously. Get to the point. Now.

__ Have you established credibility? Give them a good, honest, believable and credible reason why this is THE product they should buy.

__ Are you using bullet points? If not, are you crazy? Bullet points are your best sales tool in an email or a sales letter.

__ Have you given them a reason to respond right now? Preferably one that doesn’t sound cheesy?

__ Have you included your call to action? Don’t assume they know what to do next.

Use this checklist on your next 5 emails, and compare the results with your last 5 emails. You should see a significant bump in conversions.
